This game's been played, this digital takeover's come down.

But this one has stayed with me, and I'll tell you why.

𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭. The iconic rivalry (the "Ohio derby") between two Ohio MLS clubs, FC Cincinnati and Columbus Crew, both of whom we're absolutely privileged to work with, and whose people and whose work we can't stop raving about.

For this year's Hell is Real rivalry match, FC Cincinnati did something unique on their app. They brought hell to life. In all the pixels, in all the places. And I mean all the way down to the fonts. The "Hell is Real" lettering looked like nothing else in the app, and that look didn't just stay in one place. It seeped into the section headers. It seeped into the roster headshots that we reworked in this gorgeous orange-and-yellow, wicking-flame patterns. And anchoring it all, there was a giant marquee graphic on the home screen.

We took FC Cincinnati's orange and breathed fire into it. Real, dancing, mesmerizing flames, right there on the app. That home screen was dramatic, vivid, and completely different from everything else we've done. The images are still burnt (pun, sorry, not sorry) in my brain.

But, there's another reason I love this one. It was designed carefully by one of our talented new junior graphic designers, someone who just graduated, and who had the chance to design this as his first launched sports-design project, right out of the gate. And, he smashed it. I can't tell you what that does to me. To watch someone who just started their career make something this beautiful, this fast, gives me a rush. It always has.

I'll remember this takeover for two reasons: not just for the flames, but for who lit them.

So thank you, Christian C. and Zoe S. at FC Cincinnati, for collaborating with Aislinn Keenan and the rest of our Digital Takeovers team on this absolutely gorgeous Hell is Real takeover, just one more in a long line of takeovers that we've been lucky to do with you and for you. Here's to the next one. We'll bring the heat to your takeovers again. 🔥💙🧡

To our newest designer, Collin Stange, only three weeks in, and you did this incredibly beautiful piece of work. I am so proud of you. I can't wait to see what you do next.

Your Fourth Wing theme night has landed.
Tonight, in person, at the Enterprise Center.
Right now, in your pocket, in your St. Louis Blues app.
Dragon riders meet hockey.

We work with the St. Louis Blues on other reading projects, and it's no surprise to me that they prioritized a theme night based on a book everyone's talking about.
Fourth Wing, Rebecca Yarros's runaway bestseller.
Also, did I mention dragon riders?

Open the Blues app right now, and see for yourself. Section headers are crowned with dragon-rider silhouetted icons. If you're signed in, your name is emblazoned at the top of the home page, greeting you with "It's Fourth Wing Night, Ana!"

More dragon riders show up for all of the features: Team, Roster, Stats, Headlines, Gameday. And in the series' black-and-gold colors, too. Scroll all the way down that home page, and drop into a special footer image, a silhouette of a castle, and a silhouetted dragon over the parapets, like something leaping right off a book jacket.

Even the Coming to the Game sticky hovering button at the bottom of the page is having its dragon moment. Look closely, and that button is shaped like the outline of the Enterprise Center (home of the Blues) with a dragon flying over the arena's "parapets." If you're coming to the game, you know what to expect.

Dragon riders on the home screen. Yes, dragon riders.
Hockey on the ice. Blues hockey.
Me? Wishing I'd had this kind of theme night for my favorite books, growing up.

💙💛 Magali Valiente, Julia Lesnicki, Keira Emerson, I love your love of reading, and for looking at a book release and thinking, "our app should totally wear that." Keep taking these swings. I'm here for every one of them.

This Sunday, the New York Jets take the field against the Dolphins, and the Jets wear their Classic uniform. That uniform reaches back across a lot of Jets history, but this year, the club's design team zoomed in on one specific era to build the entire brand around: the late 90s, early 2000s. Yes, people, the iMac years.

Open up the Jets app now, and take a look at the home screen. In the left-hand corner, you'll see those little red, amber, and green window buttons staring back at you. We've all seen those buttons on our iMacs a gazillion times. Such a beautiful, perfect little detail, and greeting you nostalgically right there on top.

Now scroll down to the team photos. THIS is my favorite part. This gave me goosebumps. I've never seen any of our other apps do this. The scattered grid of Polaroids, tilted, overlapping, like snapshots casually tossed on a desk. And this is not a filter, people. Emphatically not a filter. The Jets shot it that way intentionally, on Multimedia Day, with real props from the era.

And then there's a promo video, inline. The living, breathing fonts, textures, and graphics of that era. Here's the most beautiful thing in my mind: this is not a logo slap. This is not a token gesture. This is intentional craftsmanship done in digital. The entire app is a living, breathing testament to the era: the fonts, the textures, the graininess, the way software looked back then. The app exudes that brand. And it's exactly the feeling the Jets want to evoke in fans when they walk into the stadium on Sunday.

And the best part? Nothing familiar was taken away. Fans can still find all their utilities, all their news, all their media, in all the familiar, expected places. What's different is the nostalgia and the feeling that the app evokes. The app owns the era. The app owns the moment.

The New York Jets digital staff built this for the fans: "We love that this makeover enables the fans to feel like they can be part of the throwback game featuring our Classic uniform. It helps us build more excitement behind this brand leading up to Sunday's game."

And that's a beautiful, beautiful thing. So, Jets, Dolphins, Sunday, 1pm. Go be a part of the throwback in the stands. But, you don't have to wait for Sunday. You can be a part of the throwback right now, on the home screen of your Jets app. I didn't have anything to do with it, but you're welcome.

💚 Tony Mancuso, John Pullano, I genuinely wish I had thought of that scattered Polaroid-style photo gallery. What a brilliant idea. I just kept scrolling back to it and staring at it, even now, as I write this. A big Wow for coming up with that one, AND for pulling it off. I can't wait to see what you do next. Keep crushing it. Big fan here. 🙋🏻‍♀️

𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐈 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒.

I suspect most of us download our club's app for a handful of things (tickets, news, scores), but the rest of the app, all that painstaking design-and-build work that someone lovingly put in, it all just sits there in the dark.

Simply because nobody ever gave us a really good reason to go poke around.

You can't lecture someone into exploring. What you can do is to make it irresistibly fun to explore. You can hide something, and then tell people to go find it. And, from the age of 3, everyone knows how hide-and-seek works.

I give you 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐞. Poe is the Baltimore Ravens' mascot, named for Edgar Allan Poe, the legendary writer who lived and died in Baltimore. A raven, in spirit, if there ever was one. Every week, Poe hides somewhere new inside the Ravens app. Your job is to find him before the clock runs out. Find him in time, and you're in the running for treasure: a game-worn Kyle Hamilton jersey, a private tour of the team's performance center, a hat, a poster.

Lots of people can hide a mascot once. The Ravens refused to make it a one-and-done. This is a season-long, hide-and-seek-from-week-to-week treasure hunt. Poe quietly shifts his hiding location every week, for that week's matchup. New week, new hiding place, same Poe, same app.

𝘚𝘰, 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴?

From the club's side, sure, it's repeat engagement. It keeps fans coming back, week after week. But, from the fan's side, that's the real difference, in my mind. It makes me go exploring. Every week, like clockwork. It turns the Ravens app into a game. It turns me into a kid looking for a hidden bird.

Find Poe reminds me why little things like this bring me joy. The best experiences aren't the ones that shout, they are the ones that make you lose yourself as a curious kid again.

So, go on. Download the Ravens app.
Feel like a kid again. Play hide-and-seek. Play week to week.

💜 A heartfelt thank-you to the labor of love that went into this, from Julianna Morraye, Dave Lang, Michelle Andres, and the entire Baltimore Ravens digital team. You design everything with so much intention, care, and craft, and it shows. You make every page and every pixel unmistakably yours. Your app is an endless source of joy for Ravens fans. It's an endless source of joy for me, too. You've made our platform better. You've made us better. You've made me better.

When a fan commits to a season of LA Galaxy soccer, they earn a long list of member benefits. The hard part? Remembering you have them.

That’s the problem we set out to solve together, the LA Galaxy and YinzCam, Inc.

The result: the 𝘎𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘹𝘺 𝘚𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯-𝘛𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘏𝘶𝘣.
𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐱𝐲 𝐚𝐩𝐩, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧-𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬.

Because the most loyal fans deserve a special front door.
A special homepage in their club app, made just for them.

Everything a Galaxy season-ticket member needs, surfaced and organized so they know exactly what they have and how to use it.

☑️ LA Galaxy Ticket Services by phone or email. Your rep, one tap away, within the app.
☑️ Your Galaxy Pass, your tickets, your Member Benefits: The digital pass, Manage Your Tickets, exclusive experiences and savings, all in reach.
☑️ The perks made visible: Discounted Member Add-Ons at STM pricing, 15% off concessions, the Matchday Guide, the 3D Seating Map, View All Perks.
☑️ Message Center and SMS Sign Up, so the important things reach you, and an answer is always a tap away.

Here’s the thinking behind it. A member hub isn’t just a utility, it’s an education tool. A personalized education tool. Most membership benefits go unused for one simple reason: members forget they exist, or have to go hunting to find them.

We designed and built the new Galaxy STM Hub to make sure that no benefit goes undiscovered, and no perk goes unused.

We launched it right after the World Cup, to put it in members’ hands at one of the most exciting points in the season.

The most loyal Galaxy fans have earned a lot.
Every one of those benefits is now waiting at their front door.
The front door of the Galaxy app.

The Chicago Fire gave their app a seasonal digital reskin for Oktoberfest, presented by the Illinois Soybean Association. Quick, download the Fire app now, and you'll see that it sports a dramatically different look from the club's red and blue.

🌾 The entire palette shifts to the season: rich browns, sky blue, and wheat-inspired details woven through every section. A harvest-festival feel, head to toe.
🌾 The match card up top: Fire vs. Philadelphia Union, on October 14 at 8:30pm at Soldier Field. The familiar Tickets and Preview one tap away.
🌾 "No Fees. Just Fire." The fee-free ticket offer for the next two home matches, right where fans can spot it quickly.
🌾 Schedule, Team News, Standings, Roster. Every section. Oktoberfest style.

This is the perfect, on-brand, on-time sponsored digital takeover.
Oktoberfest is a harvest festival, and it's presented by the Illinois Soybean Association, an agriculture partner whose wheat-and-harvest world is woven right into the design.

The theme, the palette, the partner all telling one story.
Familiar structure. All the harvest feels.
Yes, it's Oktoberfest time.
Raise one for the Fire.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. This is our first Oktoberfest digital takeover, for any club, anywhere, in the last 17 years. What a standout October takeover, with the harvest branding and in celebration of your local Illinois partner! I just love, love, love the sponsor-meets-theme concept behind this one. I'm sure that other clubs will start thinking up their Oktoberfest takeovers, based on this one. Thank you for the continuous and ever-growing collaboration, Jacqueline Oiga, Emily Simanskis, Andrew Grahovec, Dan Moriarty.

October 10, 2026.
Anime Day. Chicago Fire FC home game. At Soldier Field.
Anime Takeover. Chicago Fire FC mobile app. In supporters' hands.

A themed digital takeover only lands if it goes all the way.
Starting yesterday, Naruto Shippuden took over the Fire app.

🍥 A fully-themed match card for Fire vs. NYCFC, with the club names, superbly styled as ninja headband scrolls, "CFFC" and "NYCFC" inked like mission tags.
🍥 Naruto branding across the whole home screen.
🍥 Everything familiar that a fan needs for matchday, still right there: Tickets, My Profile, Membership, Schedule.
🍥 The Match Recap from the Fire's second straight win over Vancouver, already in the feed.
🍥 Team, Roster, Standings, Stats, all in one place.
🍥 A Naruto-themed jersey giveaway for the first 5k fans tomorrow.

The Chicago Fire didn't just drop a logo on the home screen. They reskinned the match card, the branding, the whole arrival moment, and kept every familiar gameday tool exactly where fans always reach for it, but with an anime theme that owns the moment.

Football and anime share a home screen.
The stats and the spectacle, working together.
This app's on fire.
Believe it.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Jacqueline Oiga, Emily Simanskis, Andrew Grahovec, Dan Moriarty, we love how you absolutely own every club moment through the club app. Redesigns are made for moments like this, and this might be the first anime-themed digital takeover we've ever built and shipped (!!). We love working with you to launch all these creative activations, and we can't wait to see the next takeover you have planned for us. Keep them coming!

Packers vs. Bears. Week 5. Lambeau Field.
A rivalry that dates back to 1921.
The most-played rivalry in NFL history.
And the Green Bay Packers app is fully dressed for it.

The Rivalries uniform takeover is live across the whole Packers app. And this kit tells a story that runs far deeper than green and gold:

🟢 A desaturated vintage green jersey, with alabaster pants and helmet, where the alabaster is drawn from the aged paper of historic Packers stock certificates.
🟡 Jersey numbers engraved like paper currency, again a nod to the fans whose financial support has sustained this franchise for over a century.
🟢 The modernized interlocking "GB" on the chest, a throwback to the Lombardi era.
🟡 "Making History Since 1919" inside the collar. "Go Pack Go" on the back of the helmet.

This isn't just a uniform.
It's a love letter to the fans.
Worn by the NFL team that the fans own.

And the takeover runs the whole app:
🏈 Meet the Team, with Jordan Love and Christian Watson front and center.
🏈 Fan Central, loaded with Packers Perks, presented by Associated Bank.
🏈 Green, Gold & Global. Pep Rallies & Huddles. Packers Everywhere. Rock Report in the video feed.
🏈 Everything a fan sees during a normal game week, but with the Rivalries coat of paint.

Making History Since 1919.
Go Pack Go.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Jennifer Ward, Nicole Timm, Carson Denley, and Duke Bobber, you are power users of our Graffiti CMS platform, and it's such a joy to watch what you do with the Packers app every day. Meet 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐳.

A brand-new arcade-style game in the Washington Commanders app.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.

🎮 Steer with the arrow buttons below the field. Chomp through the maze with your Commanders character, rack up points, dodge the opposing defense.
🎮 The opponent characters take on the colors of whichever opponent the Commanders play that week in real life.
🎮 𝘈 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦, so no two drives play the same.
🫷 When the ref character takes the field, stay out of his way. Touch him and it's an instant whistle. Game over.
🪜 Climb through the levels. There's no cap.

When the drive's over, see your best score. There's a weekly leaderboard tied to each matchup, starting Week 4 vs. the Indianapolis Colts on October 4. And, yes, there's also a season-long high-score leaderboard.

And here's the clever, creative detail that makes it fun. When the league week flips on Wednesday, so does the game. Whoever the Commanders play that week on the field, you get to play them in Burgundy Blitz. Yes, little characters chasing you in the maze, in the opponent's colors.

The maze changes every drive.
The opponent characters change every week.
The leaderboard updates every week.
The game is never quite the same twice.

Burgundy Blitz. A new mini-arcade game, dreamt up for Commanders fans by Catherine Milkovich, Digital Marketing Coordinator at the Washington Commanders.

Catherine, it is such a privilege and a joy to work with you. Every time we get on a call with you, you generate brilliant new ideas and delightful ways to keep fans happy. Leicester City's Filbert's Present Hunt (Find Filbert) holds a special place for us.
It's where our entire Digital Badge product originated.

Find Filbert turned a city into a game board.
An anytime-anywhere real-world physical treasure hunt.
Recorded in digital form.

Filbert the Fox hid around the city, and Leicester City FC fans used in-app clues to track him through the real world. Fans found the buried Filbert treasure in the form of special QR codes, and then scanned those QR codes on-location to collect their points.

🦊 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐤, 2023. Find Filbert first launched for Leicester's fans in Bangkok, for LCFC Live in Bangkok, around Leicester's friendly vs. Tottenham at Rajamangala Stadium. Fans could scan QR codes at locations around Bangkok to collect tokens, enter lucky draws for prizes, such as gift packs, signed shirts, match tickets, and the grand prize of a round-trip for two to watch an LCFC match in Leicester.

🦊 𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 2025. Filbert's presents went missing around the city, and his clues led fans to find them. "You'll find my present near the Ice Rink." "Roll into Leicester and take a right." Real clues, real places, real prizes.

🦊 𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 2026. Filbert placed a basket of special Easter Eggs around King Power Stadium and in the Foxes Fanstore. When fans scanned the QR code in each egg using the LCFC App, they could find clues to unearth the next egg while unlocking Easter Egg points. Yes, eggs with points!

One fox. One treasure-hunt mechanic.
Bangkok 2023, Christmas 2025, Easter 2026.
Reskinned for every season, every place, every fanbase.

This became the blueprint for our Digital Badges product.
Find Filbert. Find the origin of our Digital Badges.
Turns out the blueprint was blue all along. 💙

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Sam Chambers, thank you for trusting us with Find Filbert back in 2023. It has been such a joy ever since inventing new products with you all the time. That brain of yours is constantly cooking up new ideas, and I love it. One treasure hunt in Thailand became the blueprint for a whole program we've since run at clubs around the world. Thank you for the idea that started it all. Sajad Aliarab, Richard Mellor, thank you for the daily collaboration and for continuing to use Find Filbert in so many new ways. And, finally, thank you, Russell Jones, you've been instrumental in shaping YinzCam all these years, and I've never forgotten that you gave me/us our first break in the U.K. You are a part of our origin story.

The Kansas City Chiefs app runs on two modes: Chiefs and Arrowhead.

Tap the toggle at the top of the Kansas City Chiefs' app homepage, and the entire app switches between following the team and navigating the stadium.

The new Arrowhead mode turns the Chiefs app into a full stadium companion:

🔴 Every stadium essential, one tap away: Clear Bag Policy, Parking & Tailgating, Know Before You Go, directions, accessibility, the A-to-Z guide, stadium maps, Fan Code of Conduct, prohibited items, and Lost and Found.
🔴 All events at Arrowhead, up top, including Chiefs games.
🔴 Concerts, too. Metallica's M72 World Tour lands at Arrowhead on May 29, 2027, tickets right in the app. And an app mode-switcher meant for this moment.
🔴 Premium Seating & Suites, amenities, and the full venue experience.
🔴 New Stadium Updates in the news feed, showcasing the ventures shaping Arrowhead Stadium's evolution over the next few years.

By building Arrowhead its own mode, the app serves every fan who walks through the stadium gates, for a game, a concert, or anything else.

The club app and the venue app, in one.
Because a stadium hosts far more than sports.
Because Arrowhead hosts far more than football.
Because an app is for more than just Sundays in the fall.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Nathan Brunzie, Luke Hammontree, Isabel Futral, thank you so much for your collaboration over so many years. I am so thrilled that you've rolled out the mode-switcher for your app, and I am also grateful for all of the activations that you've done with us, including the digital takeovers and the AR Portal. We're excited to continue rolling out even more features with you over the course of this season. Nathan, thank you personally for over a decade of genuine friendship and kindness. You've had my back more times than I can count, and you've always shown up for me and for us with enthusiasm and warmth.

The Dallas Wings forced a decider. After Arike Ogunbowale's playoff-record 45 points last night stunned the Golden State Valkyries in overtime (no less!), the series is tied 1-1, and it all comes down to Game 3 this Friday.

The Dallas Wings app owned, and 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘴, the moment and the playoffs.

The Wings app got a full playoff digital takeover, light mode to dark: deep Wings blue with highlights of green and sky blue, wave textures throughout, and "Now It's Us" running across the home page, titlebars, team waistband, and nav.

Amongst the compelling graphic elements are the animations of the Dallas Wings logo on the titlebar, at the bottom of every page, and the way the bottom-navigation bar pops in green as you tap around.

🏀 The full Round 1 bracket, live. Schedule, times, and where to watch (Friday, October 2, 9pm ET, ESPN2), all in one place.
🏀 Round One Tickets, right there. Game Day mode, on.
🏀 The roster that got them here. Paige Bueckers, Arike Ogunbowale, Deja Kelly, Odyssey Sims, Alysha Clark, Alanna Smith.
🏀 Wings Highlights, videos, jerseys, Shop, My Tickets. Everything a fan needs to show up for Friday.

Game 3. Friday. 9pm ET.
Now it's us.
Wings Up.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Lauren Montgomery, MSM, thank you for entrusting us with your playoff digital takeover, and for all of the collaboration throughout the season. We absolutely love the branding elements, and it was such a joy to bring them to life. I love, love, love that wavy texture, the "glass wings," as the background of every page.

When the Ottawa Senators returned to the NHL in the early 1990s, they had a magazine: 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬. Decades on, the club has brought it back. Not in print, but as an app-exclusive digital publication, published monthly, and available only in the Senators app.

Here's what makes it special: every issue belongs to one person.

📖 A single sit-down interview at the heart of each edition: a real profile, not a headline. The whole magazine, built around one Senators legend.
📖 Deep-dive player profiles, prospect spotlights, and retrospectives on the franchise's long-tenured greats, with recent issues featuring Chris Phillips, Claude Giroux, and Thomas Chabot.
📖 App-exclusive, so it's a reason to open the app every month. This is your monthly appointment with Sens history.
📖 Read like a magazine, designed like one, with rich layouts, pull quotes, photography. Tablet-optimised, so on the big screen it feels like holding the issue, and built for where foldables are heading next.
📖 Surfaced through YinzStories, our vertical-video storytelling format, which lent itself almost intuitively to this digital magazine experience.

The club promotes it across every channel, and every path leads back to one place: the app. Great content that lives 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 in the app is the best reason there is to be in the app.

A founding-era print magazine reborn as an app-exclusive digital monthly.
One issue, one person, one reason to come back.
𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬. History meets the present.
Makes perfect Sens.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Anisia Laporte, Matthew Perry, what a spectacular idea! To bring 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬 into the app as a digital magazine, with monthly editions featuring Sens legends, and to use all of the app real-estate and features to drive engagement. This is superb digital story-telling, and we love having built this type of feature with you first. Thank you for the privilege and joy of working with you, and of continuing to debut so many new features. Our first NHL-team predictor game. Our first French-language experience across our 20 NHL-team apps. And, now, here you go again, with our first in-app-exclusive digital monthly magazine for fans.

This past Saturday, at Edgbaston Stadium, Warwickshire were crowned County Champions, for the ninth time in the Club's history. And edgbaston.com, the website we built with them and for them, celebrated the title in every pixel.

The Bears sealed it in style: Warwickshire 372, beating Leicestershire (125 and 168) by an innings and 79 runs. There's nothing quite like clinching a championship title in front of a joyful, large home-crowd watching red-ball cricket on a glorious Saturday afternoon.

𝘓𝘢, 𝘭𝘢, 𝘭𝘢, 𝘭𝘢, 𝘭𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳! (sorry, sorry, couldn't resist)

Ethan Bamber, the season's leading wicket-taker (69 wickets!) in Division One, took the final wicket. Ed Barnard became the ninth Bears captain to lift the Championship trophy.

The moment the Bears were confirmed as champions, the website celebrated with them:

🏆 A bespoke, on-brand, digital-confetti effect cascading across the site. Yes, both on desktop and on mobile web, purpose-built for this exact title moment.
🏆 A Champions Coverage hub, front and centre, gathering the whole celebration in one place. For fans to read, re-read, and re-re-read.
🏆 The match report, the images, the reaction, the day-by-day live blog for all three days, all the way into the last wicket.

Some days a website just carries information.
On championship days, the website is pure digital celebration.
Confetti raining down the homepage, right alongside the win.

Champions. Nine times over.
Confetti. All over.
You Bears!

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Millie Frain, Rida I., Adam Lowe, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay! I am so happy for all of you. What a privilege to work with all of you, and to bring a championship to life through your website. And, what a way to win! Wrapping the entire thing up by early afternoon on a Saturday, and by an entire innings and 79 runs, no less. It must have been an absolute party in the stands for that last wicket. Thank you again. From the very beginning, you've always embraced a fan-first mindset to the website, and it shows. I believe this has to be a first for digital confetti for a cricket championship. So, thank you for letting us be a part of it.

Last night, Birmingham City's third kit went live. Fittingly, after dark. And, their club app was transformed to own the moment and to own the night.

It's the finale of the club's campaign: 𝘐𝘵 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘖𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘉𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦.

The home kit told the city's story through art.
The away kit told the city's story through music.
This third kit told the city's story through the feeling and atmosphere of the city at night: its rooms, its sound, the people who keep Birmingham moving when the rest of the city has gone home.

Bold pink. Deep navy.
Vivid-pink Birmingham sunsets seeping into midnight-blue night skies.

🌙 A countdown clock sat right on the home screen, ticking toward kit launch.
🌙 When the clock hit zero, the kit went live. In the Club Shop at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park, first, that night, the only place you could get the kit at the exact launch moment.
🌙 A Closer Look gallery let fans get right up to every detail of the design.
🌙 News fed straight in, and Follow the Blues kept fans connected across every channel.

The kit went on sale the only way it could: at night, for one evening exclusive to the room. Wanted it first? You had to be there, at the Club Shop after dark. And for everyone else, the app carried the whole reveal: the countdown, the drop, the moment.

This was no ordinary kit launch.
Launched at night.
First sold at night.
Digital takeover at night.
Evoking the city at night.

It could only be made here.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Charles Knight, Ben Johnson, Grant Brokenshire, thank you for the continued collaboration and for enthusiastically proposing big ideas for big moments. These digital takeovers are important for story-telling and amplifying the moment for fans, especially with these three big kit-launch stories that so movingly speak to Birmingham. We love that you never sit still and that you never stop innovating. Thank you for our partnership, and the work that we get to do with you every day. You are such a joy to work with.

Tonight, the Connecticut Sun play their final game in the state.
September 24, Tempo at Sun, 7pm, Mohegan Sun Arena.

There's Fan Appreciation Night.
And, then, there's the Sun's Fan Appreciation Night.
For this last Connecticut tip-off after 24 WNBA seasons.

To honor the moment, the Connecticut Sun transformed their mobile app with a complete Fan Appreciation digital takeover, presented by Anthem and Carelon, putting the spotlight on the people who made these years matter: the fans who filled the Mohegan Sun Arena, season after season.

☀️ Through the Years walked fans across every era of the Sun's identity, 2003 to 2026. Three logos. Three chapters. One unforgettable run in Connecticut.
☀️ Everything for the last night, in one place: the ticket, the game preview, the latest, the merch.
☀️ The Keep Shinin' podcast, the 50/50 Raffle, Ask Blaze, Theme Nights and Giveaways. The whole matchday experience, gathered one final time.

This takeover is a genuine and moving tribute. This takeover wears its heart on the app, the pages overflowing with gratitude and memories, to the Connecticut Sun fans who made this place home for over two decades.

To every fan who downloaded and used the Connecticut Sun app, thank you. It has been a privilege and a joy to be part of the Connecticut Sun's story and of your memories with the team. We loved every moment of serving you, gamedays and every day.

Mia Krysa, MS, thank you for the collaboration, the enthusiasm, and the energy you have brought to the app and to our work. It has been an absolute privilege to work with you. You made a difference to the app and to us.

🎬 𝖢𝖱𝖤𝖣𝖨𝖳𝖲. Our Digital Takeovers team of Aislinn Keenan, Lexie Vigna, Monica Crowsey, and Justin Clevenger for the many digital takeovers we've designed for the Connecticut Sun app over the years. Ana Baskinger for the 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘏𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴 graphic.

The Utah Mammoth head into their third season with a refreshed app, with a redesigned home page, and a Gameday Hub built to switch on when it matters most.

🦣 A marquee graphic up top, promoting the home opener: opponent, date, and time, front and center. Chicago at Utah, on October 1 at the Delta Center, a rematch of the franchise's very first game.
🦣 A custom scorecard with a countdown to puck drop right below it, building the excitement and pointing fans straight to their tickets.
🦣 A push to subscribe to Mammoth+, the home of every Utah Mammoth content series.
🦣 Quick access to standings, evergreen and ever-updating all season, keeping fans on top of those all-important conference and division standings.
🦣 And the essentials, one tap away: Schedule, Stream, Food & Bev, Team Store, My Wallet.

Then there's the new Gameday Hub. This, to me, is the really special piece: the Gameday Hub 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 flips live only for the Mammoth's home games. The app shifts into gameday-hub mode right on cue for home games, and steps aside the rest of the time.

What fans need, when they need it, no searching, no clutter.

New season, new home screen.
New Gameday Hub.
Tusk up.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Claudia Hanrahan, Justin Kraft, I love, love, love, love how your branding positively jumps off the screen and just glows so intensely. On top of that, you have these stunning graphics and mobile layouts that are just well-thought through. I love the auto-flipping Gameday Hub concept, and I know that this will quickly become a best practice. This is a clever way to keep discoverability and usability front and center in UI/UX, and particularly for gamedays. Thank you for collaborating with us, and for transforming the Utah Mammoth app into such a glorious app experience.

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧. 𝐖𝐢𝐧 $100,000.

Immaculate Prediction.
Make your 24 picks before NFL Week 1 kicks off.
Get the season right. Win $100K.

Here we go, Steelers Mobile app.

🖤 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧-𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞. 24 questions locked in before Week 1 kickoff: how many wins, who leads the team in sacks, the longest offensive TD, who takes the AFC North. Scored as the year unfolds, all towards that $100K prize.
💛 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞. 10 fresh questions every gameday, with weekly prizes: an autographed Steelers item, a Pro Shop gift card, an official Terrible Towel.
🖤 Season and weekly leaderboards. Everyone in Steelers Nation knows where they stand.
💛 Revisit your season picks any time, and watch them get scored as the games and the game outcomes roll in, week after week.

Here's the part we're proud of, under the hood: normally, one template feeds every predictor game. Nope, not this time. Every single week has its own bespoke set of questions. The season has its own set of 24 questions, with every fan's picks locked in before season kickoff, and fans' answers scored week after week, right alongside the Steelers season.

Go ahead, make your immaculate picks.
Call the season.
Here we go.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Jeff Brown, Reagan Berube, Melanie Harris, Dan Rooney, this is an absolutely brilliant idea and a fantastic way to run a prediction and fan-engagement activation. The idea of having 24 questions where the fan gets to lock in their answers well before season kick-off, is such a superb idea. And, then, to top that all off with weekly picks, that's just icing on the top. This is now a new best practice for how to run a predictor game with repeat fan engagement, and we can't wait to watch all of Steeler Nation play along all season long.

Wolverhampton Wanderers launched a Personalised Wallpapers feature, to mark their 150th-anniversary season in style.

Now, through the Wolves club app, fans can create a digital takeaway that is personal to them and that they can use forever as a wallpaper on their device, as an enduring memory of this iconic 150th season.

🐺 Type your name, pick your number. See it render live in the club's own typeface on a shirt, on the iconic old gold design with WW150 branding throughout.
🐺 Download the finished and personalised wallpaper straight to your device, and share it anywhere.
🐺 Want the real thing? A "Buy Now" button links straight to the Wolves store for the actual shirt.

Here's the bit we're proud of, under the hood: this is the first time we've integrated a custom image-based font asset into our Personalised Wallpapers feature. And, it matters because the fan can see 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 name and 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 number render in Wolves' exact matchday typeface, on a digital (shirt) keepsake.

Personalised. Shareable. Purchasable.
Your app. Your wallpaper. Your memory.
All from the Wolves app.

150 years in. Still making history.

👏 𝖪𝖴𝖣𝖮𝖲. Leon Rastall, Martin Axford, Hannah Moule, thank you for continuing to innovate with us, and for being willing to experiment and ship so many new features. Multiple digital takeovers, kit launches, the World Cup hub, Limited Drops, the Transfer Hub, automated vertical-video stories, and now, this. We love that you never stop creating new experiences for Wolves fans, and that you are constantly looking to make sure that your app meets the moment, whether it be kit launch, transfers, matchday, and more. Thank you for always being willing to create and ship new features with us.
