Quick. Open the Seattle Seahawks app now.
On the home screen, you'll see the ring. Yes, THAT ring.
The Super Bowl LX championship ring.
The ring was designed and built by Jason of Beverly Hills, who shared the original 3D model with us. What began then was a weeks-long project, where we iterated over the smallest of details with the Seahawks digital team. Our goal was to build a 3D interactive ring inside the club app, to give fans a chance to explore the splendor and craftsmanship of the ring, in their hands.
This was a first of its kind for us.
This is not just a photo. It does what no photo can. Let the ring spin on its own, or take control. Turn it on both axes by touch, or pinch to zoom in on the intricate details. Watch the diamonds and sapphires glow and twinkle, their reflections shifting as you change the ring's angle. The laws of physics hold in the digital universe, as you tilt and turn the ring, with the right shadows, the right reflections, the right light on each of the gems.
Press the "12 Flag" on the side of the ring, and watch the Lumen Field arches gracefully unfurl to reveal the words "WORLD CHAMPIONS." This mechanical detail is one of the most technically advanced features in a championship ring, and we knew we had to be accurate in how it appeared and operated.
More than 700 diamonds surround the ring's white-gold body. Every detail carries meaning. At the center, diamond-encrusted Lumen Field arches soar over Seahawks-blue sapphires, the hawk, and the two Lombardi Trophies the Seahawks have won. Fifty round diamonds encircle the logo, one for every season (the Seahawks were established in 1976). One ring shoulder carries each player's name and number beside the team's mantra, "M.O.B." The other shoulder carries the team's vision, "12 AS ONE," along with the Seattle skyline and the Super Bowl LX logo. Twelve feathers run along the bottom, for the 12s.
Last week, the Seahawks players received their Super Bowl LX rings in a private ceremony. Now, every Seahawks fan gets to play with theirs.
Go on, then.
Take the Super Bowl LX ring for a spin.
Only in the Seahawks app.
