𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬.

The Columbus Blue Jackets built the future of their team by drafting their class of 2026 just last weekend. And fans caught every Draft pick, in multiple ways, all through the team app.

First, at 7pm ET last Friday, the radio stream promptly went live in the Blue Jackets app, so that fans could listen to the Draft picks as they unfolded.

Second, a custom Draft header, presented by Pepsi, took center stage on the app's home screen, followed by our new NHL Draft cards.

Third, Live Activities. Yes, in another first, we rolled out Draft Live Activities on iOS and Android devices for our NHL teams. Lock-screen updates on phones, as each pick was made. No app open required. Not a single pick missed.
