๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฒ.
Four weeks, three countries, two leagues, one champion.
In its fourth year now, Leagues Cup is an annual, Concacaf-sanctioned competition where 36 clubs (all 18 LIGA MX teams and 18 qualified MLS clubs) play in a unique inter-league competition format. Leagues Cup will be played in two rounds: Phase One, beginning August 4, and the Knockout Rounds, ending with the Leagues Cup Final on September 6.
With their three Phase One fixtures against CF Pachuca, Pumas, and Atlas FC, FC Cincinnati is ready for Leagues Cup. And, so is their app.
Head to the FC Cincinnati mobile app. Go on, tap on that floaty orange "Leagues Cup Hub" button hovering at the bottom of the home page, and drop right into a brand-new tournament hub.
๐ Countdown card for the first match (but, of course).
๐ Tickets and how to watch, front and center.
๐ An explainer, if you're new to the format of the Leagues Cup.
๐ FC Cincinnati's group-stage slate: CF Pachuca on August 4, Pumas on August 7, Atlas FC on August 11.
๐ A Road to the Final progress carousel, filling in round by round.
๐ Content throughout to keep the energy up between matches.
This is a brand-new mobile layout style for FC Cincinnati, and it gave us the chance to have fun with new cards, carousels, and a fresh design approach. And, yes, that inviting floaty button on the home page.
Let the battle begin. FC Cincinnati is ready.
๐ ๐ช๐ด๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฒ. Thank you, Christian C., Zoe Sucharski, Laura Wright, for the opportunity to work with all of you on the FC Cincinnati mobile app. First, a gorgeous World Cup digital takeover barely a few weeks ago, and now, a special Leagues Cup Hub. We love that your app is dynamic, and that you never stop refreshing the app for fans. It's such a source of joy to us when a club never sits still, and when the club's app continually evolves to surprise fans for every tentpole moment. Let's keep this going. So, what are we doing next?
๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฑ๐ค๐ฃ๐จ๐ณ๐ฒ. โAislinn Keenanโ, Justin Clevenger, and Monica Crowsey for the design of this tournament hub. Ana Baskinger for the ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ฑ ๐๐ข๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ด graphic.
